Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To prevent any short circuit accident between the wires of a stator winding by rotating an anode at high speed by applying electric power to a stator prior to high voltage being applied, then performing X-ray photographing while the anode is rotating by inertia by developing a short circuit between the terminals of the stator winding. CONSTITUTION:In photographing an X-ray picture, at first, a rotary anode 5 is rotated at high speed by connecting a stator winding 2 to an energizing power source 3 through a selector switch 7. Next, high voltage is applied across an rotary anode 5 and a cathode 6 by supplying electricity to a high voltage power source 4 by closing a switch 8. Here, just prior to the switch 8 being closed by an interlocking means 9, a short circuit is developed between the terminals of the stator winding 2 by opening the keep-alive power source 3 by switching the selector switch 7. Then an X-ray picture is taked while the rotary anode 5 rotates by inertia. As a result, even when electric discharge develops within the tube or the circuit system, there is no possibility that unusually high voltage develops across the wires of the stator winding 2, and any short circuit accident of the stator winding 2 can be prevented. |
