SPLIT MANHOLE CONSTRUCTION WORK AND BLOCKS THEREFORE

PURPOSE:To construct a manhole in a pipeline buried without the need to stop the use of sewer by using concrete tube blocks whose lower both sides are provided with arch-shaped grooves to be inserted with the pipeline buried. CONSTITUTION:An already laid pipeline 2 is exposed, a foundation 8 is formed on the bottom of the pipeline 2, and a foundation block 6 is set. A body block 4 is placed on the foundation block 6 in such a way that the pipeline 2 is inserted into the cut groove 5 of the block 4 and then concrete 9 is placed to construct the subgrade of a manhole 3. Then, the upper half of the pipeline 2 is cut off, fresh concrete 10 is placed into the block 4 to bury the lower half periphery of the pipeline 2, and then cement mortar caulking 11 is packed in the aperture between the pipeline 2 and the cut groove 5 of the block 4. Lastly, an upright wall tube 13, a slant wall tube 14, a regulating ring 15, and a cover receiving frame 16 are stacked up on the block 4 to complete the manhole 3 and then the construction hole is embedded with soil.
