MANUFACTURE OF STATOR FOR MOTOR

PURPOSE:To readily manufacture a stator which has many poles by forming by a power metallurgical method the stator of a sintered material. CONSTITUTION:The profile of a molded powder unit 1' (stator) is formed in the space 14 of a die 11, the profile of the unit 1 (stator) is shaped by a main core 12, the central space of the unit 1' (stator) is formed in the core 12, and further an air gap between the poles of the unit 1' (stator) is formed of each auxiliary core 13. Thus, each pole of the unit 1' is formed by the core with the material powder which is filled between the cores 13. After the unit 1' is press-molded in a mold having split cores made of the main and auxiliary cores 12, 13 in this manner, the unit 1' is sintered as a sintered material, and the stator is manufactured.
