Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:The titled low-shrinking composition capable of providing smooth-surfaced cured products having excellent dimensional stability and impact resistance, comprising a specified unsaturated polyester, an ethylenically unsaturated monomer, PS and a thickener. CONSTITUTION:An unsaturated polyester (A) having a MW per double bond of 190-330, an acid value of below 40 and a MW of 500-4,500 is obtained by reacting an unsaturated polybasic acid (e.g., maleic anhydride) with a glycol (e.g., ethylene glycol) and a saturated dibasic acid of the formula, wherein n is 2-8. Then, to a mixture of 30-80pts.wt. component A and 70-20pts.wt. ethylenically unsaturated monomer (e.g., styrene) are added 3-42wt% PS and 0.01-20wt%, based on component A, thickener (e.g., MgO). A cured product having a smooth surface and a coefficient of linear shrinkage of below 1% can be obtained by curing this composition at 80-200 deg.C.
