HEAT FIXATION DEVICE

PURPOSE:To obtain a heat fixation device where the power consumption is reduced and the time of preheating is shortened, by closing a parts installation region to insulate it thermally from the outside air unless sheets of paper are fed to or ejected from the heat fixation device. CONSTITUTION:The whole of the heat fixation device is provided with a cover 10 for the purpose of insulating the space including a heat roll 1 and a pressure roll 2 from the outside air, and a heat insulator 11 is provided on the inside or outside wall of the cover 10 to prevent the radiation of heat to the external. A supporting material guide 7 is supported vertically shakably with a supporting rod 12 as the fulcrum, and the supporting material guide 7 is shaked by a driving device and is brought closely into contact with the cover 10 and is insulated from the outside air when a supporting material is not supplied, and a heat insulator 13 is provided on the inside or outside wall of the supporting material guide 7 to prevent the radiation of heat to the external. Similarly to the supporting material guide, an ejection exist of the supporting material is insulated from the outside air, and the radiation of heat from it to the external is prevented.
