Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To execute complete cleaning, irrespective of a kind of a magnetic toner, by removing a residual magnetic toner on the surface of a photoreceptor, by use of a magnetic brush formed by magnetic particles containing magnetic fine powder of a specified quantity of more. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic brush is formed by controlled an tuft by a blade 9 on a sleeve 5 of a magnetic roll 6 provided in a casing 4, by magnetic particles (CP) which disperse >=50wt% magnetic fine powder in resin, whose mean particle diameter is within a range of 10-60mu and is larger than a magnetic toner (MT), and whose resistance value is >=10 OMEGAcm. The roll 6 is rotated in the direction as indicated with an arrow (b), and a residual MT on a photosensitive drum 1 is reduced its electrostatic attracting force by an eraser lamp 3 and removed by the magnetic brush. The removed MT is scraped by a guide plate 10 by charging a collecting roll 7 to the opposite polarity to the MT, is led to a carrying spring 11 and is sent to a collecting vessel. The CP is charged to the opposite polarity to the MT, therefore, it is used repeatedly. In this way, a photoreceptor is cleaned completely. |
