ELECTRON GUN CONTROL ELECTRODE

PURPOSE:To improve the manufacturing of parts, automation of an assembly, and the working ratio of facilities by providing a dummy bead support section in a control electrode that arranges bead glass and applying it to the control electrode that is different in the number of glass beads. CONSTITUTION:For a plate-type control electrode 13, six sets of a three-watch are provided on the side opposed to a bead support section 13a. For a cup-type control electrode 14, a bead support section 15a is formed by providing a protrusion so as to have the bead support section 15, i.e. four bead glass imbedding sections and adheres to this bead support section 15 and cup parts 10. The shape of the support sections 13a and 15a, their arrangement position, and the wide size of the bead glass are determined so that the bead glass 7 and the bead support sections 13a and 15a do not interfere with one after another after they are welded. As a result, the manufacturing of parts, automation of an assembly, and the working ratio of facilities can be improved.
