Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain a lining pit capable of detecting leak accurately by isolating a lining pit for storage of liquid from leak detecting groove with non-metal material. CONSTITUTION:A leak detecting groove 6 is provided on a lining pit 1 and connected to a seat 7 for a leak detector with a rubber boot 9 to seal up whereby the lining pit 1 is isolated from the leak detecting groove 6. The isolation of the lining pit 1 from the leak detecting groove 6 enables the detection of leaked liquid only to eliminate malfunctioning of the leak detector 4 thereby improving the reliability of the leak detection.
