GRAPHIC RECOGNIZER

PURPOSE:To recognize a pattern with no effect of a break of the outer frame of a graphic pattern, by performing the contour tracking after painting out an inside pattern and then forming a contour point train in response to the painting- out condition of the tracking point. CONSTITUTION:A reading part 10 reads electrically a graphic pattern with a raster scanning method. The inside of the outer frame of a binary coded graphic pattern 20 is painted out at a point-out pattern producing part 30. Then a contour point train producing part 40 detects a break of the outer frame while giving the contour tracking to a print-out pattern and at the same time produces a contour point train. Then a form deciding part 50 decides the form of the pattern. The contour tracking is carried out after painting out the inside pattern of a seal print pattern. Then the terminal point and a special terminal point are detected in response to the value of the tracking point to produce a contour point train. Thus the inside pattern is never tracked mistakenly even though the outer frame of the graphic pattern has a break.
