Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain compactness and high efficiency, by both fitting a plunger interlocking to a displacer piston and providing a crankshaft to the inside of a sealed hollow part of a power piston communicated to a buffer space. CONSTITUTION:A power piston 2 and a displacer piston 3 are contained in a cylinder 1 sealed with working gas, and the piston 3 is connected through a rod 13 to a plunger 12 housed in a hollow part 14 cylindrical provided to the piston 2. A cross head part 15 is formed to the bottom part of the piston 2 and slidably guided by a bearing part 16. Then a crankshaft 22 is arranged to a crank chamber 30 in a shell 29 successively connected to the bottom end of the cylinder 1, and said shaft 22 and a cross pin 21 provided to said part 15 are connected interlocking through a connecting rod 20, then power of the piston 2 can be taken off from the shaft 22.
