Zusammenfassung:This hold-down device is used for unfoldable solar generators of a satellite. The solar generator consists of a stack of panels (1, 2, 3) which are placed one above the other and are connected by means of hinges (4) to one another and to the satellite body (11). It is proposed that the hold-down device has a lever (8) which is mounted on a bracket (7) such that it can rotate. A spring (9) subjects the lever (8) to pretensioning in the direction of the bracket (7). A cable (10) engages on the lever (8) in the opposite direction to the spring force and presses said lever onto the outermost panel (2) of the stack. The cable (10) can be cut through by a cable cutter in order to unlock the hold-down device. A plurality of hold-down devices can be arranged on the circumference of the panel stack and can be connected by means of a common cable.
