COSMETIC OF POLYPHASE EMULSIFICATION TYPE

PURPOSE:The titled cosmetic having high safety and stability, improved spread, the good touch in use, etc., comprising a W/O/W combined emulsion as a basic form, consisting of a water in oil type-emulsion as a dispersed phase and an aqueous solution of a water-soluble polysaccharide as a dispersion medium. CONSTITUTION:1-20wt% oil-soluble emulsifying agent (e.g., nonionic surface active agent) based on oil component is dissolved in 13.0-47wt% oil component (e.g., fats and oils, wax, hydrocarbon, higher fatty acid) based on total weight, and water or an aqueous solution dissolving a water-soluble component is dispersed and emulsified into the solution, to give a water-in-oil type emulsion. The titled cosmetic of W/O/W combined emulsion comprising the water-in-oil type emulsion as a dispersed phase and an aqueous solution of a water-soluble polysaccharide (e.g., xanthan gum, pectin, carrageenan, starch, dextrin) (0.08- 16.0wt% based on the oil component) as a dispersion medium. The cosmetic has improved cleansing effect and emollient effect, and active ingredients are stably sealed in an inner water phase.
