CODE INFORMING SYSTEM IN PACKET EXCHANGE NETWORK

PURPOSE:To inform codes used in a transmission terminal from an outgoing exchange to an incoming exchange, by adding a new digit exclusive for a packet exchange network to a subscriber number of outgoing subscribers with the outgoing exchange, setting the codes used in the outgoing terminal to the said digit and transmitting the codes to the incoming exchange. CONSTITUTION:Subscribers T1, T2 are connected to exchanges N1, N2 respectively. The T1 has a subscriber number 1 of ''12345'' and the T2 has a subscriber number 2 of ''98765''. In assuming the communication from the T1 to the T2, the T1 transmits the subscriber number 2 of the T2 to the exchange N1. The N1 sets the codes used in the T1 to the digit ''A'' of a subscriber number 3 between stations of ''12345A'' and transmits it to the N2 together with the subscriber number 2 of the T2. The N2 discriminates the codes used in the T1 from the ''A'' of the subscriber number 3.
