METHANE FERMENTATION DEVICE

PURPOSE:To maintain the temp. of a solubilization tank in the state suited for activation of microbes, by providing said tank in contact with the solution in a settling tank thereby constituting both tanks so as to permit heat transmission between both tanks and providing a methane fermentation tank. CONSTITUTION:A raw material (natural org. matter) is charged through a feed port into a solubilization tank 8, and is converted to lower org. matter which is then introduced through a pipe 11 into a methane fermentation tank 1. The residue and unreacted matter are discharged through a drain removal port 15. Methane fermentation takes place in the tank 1, and methane and CO2 are generated. The generated gas (gaseous methane, CO2) 12 is recovered through a gas removal port 13, and the residue and unreacted matter are introduced through a connecting part 4 and the opening 5 to a settling tank 6 into the tank 6. Part thereof is discharged through a drain removal port 14. The clarified water separated by settling in the tank 6 is released through a removal port 7 and the residue and unreacted matter are released through a drain removal port 16.
