METHOD OF CONSTRUCTING LATERAL REINFORCEMENT JOINT FOR UNDERGROUND CONTINUOUS WALL AND ITS INTERLOCKING PIPE DEVICE

PURPOSE:To utilize the continuous wall as the wall body of a structure by a method wherein a reinforced cylinder is mounted between locking pipes at both sides of a trench, concrete is placed, while one of the locking pipes is removed, a reinforced cylinder is set up into the next trench and concrete is placed. CONSTITUTION:The reinforced cylinder 2 is installed between the interlocking pipes 1, 1' built at both end sections of the trench A, connecting joint sections 4, 4' are mounted to a lateral reinforcement 3, concrete is placed into the trench A, and a preceding continuous wall element 6 is formed while the next trench B is excavated. The interlocking pipe 1 contacting with the trench B side is detached and removed by means of a hydraulic jack 10, and moved to the other end section of the trench B. The reinforced cylinder 2' is mounted into the trench B, the connecting joint section 4' and the connecting joint section 4 projected from the preceding continuous wall element 6 are connected, concrete is placed into the trench B, and the next continuous wall element 6' is formed.
