Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To reduce the burden of a scanning circuit and to extend the freedom of design, by forming plural switching elements provided at the outside of each pickup picture element with depletion MOSFETs and decreasing the peak voltage of a scanning signal. CONSTITUTION:Sources of pickup picture elements forming vertical columns among MOSFETs S11-Smn constituting pickup picture elements E11-Emn are connected in common and connected to sounces of MOSFETs T'1-T'n of depletion type functioning as switching elements. The drains of FETsT'1-T'n are connected in common and to a power supply 5 via an output resistive element 4. An output terminal 6 is led between the common connecting point of the drains and the element 4. Each gate of the FETT'1-T'n is connected to n sets of control terminals h1-hn to which a horizontal scanning signal is supplied.
