SUBSCRIBING METHOD OF LOOP NETWORK

PURPOSE:To eliminate a special station for the management of a network without the need of another manager more than the one for the network, by retrieving an address of each station in the network by a new subscriber using the communication network, and selecting the address of the own station by said subscriber. CONSTITUTION:An address retrieval frame is transmitted from a loop input terminal 13 to a control circuit 16. The circuit 16 writes an address of the station, transmits a data to a frame assembling circuit 17, and a framed data is outputted to a loop output terminal 14. The address retrieval frame circulated in the loop network has address information of all the subscribers and this frame is fetched in a new subscriber station. A loop adaptor 2 of the station retrieves a vacant address with the circuit 16 and decides the address of the station. This address and addresses of each station are stored in a memory 26. Succeedingly, a new subscriber station transmits an address registration frame and each station receiving it transmits the frame to the next station from the terminal 14, and stores it in the memory 26.
