Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To reinforce a molded article of a resin in which prepared glass fibers are used, to improve electromagnetic shielding effect and the effect of thermal conductivity, by covering glass fibers in the whole direction of circumference with a metal material with a proper thickness. CONSTITUTION:The glass fiber 1 having 3-60mu diameter is covered in the whole direction of circumference with a metal material having 0.1-10mu average thickness. The metallized glass fibers thus obtained or their mat can provide a molded article of a resin with electromagnetic shielding effect and the effect of thermal conductivity when the molded article of a resin is used by the same processing method as a conventional one.
