PULSE GENERATOR

PURPOSE:To decrease the ability of a charging power supply and of a smoothing circuit and to generate uniform pulses, by making the cycle of charging uniform as the same charging conditions, in a pulse generator generating adjacent two- pulse discharges repetitively. CONSTITUTION:A pulse generator 12 shapes a synchronizing signal into required pulses to ignite a control rectifying element 7 in synchronizing with the signal and the element 7 is ignited via a pulse transformer 11. A pulse delay circuit 13 delays the synchronizing input signal by a time DT required for one discharge of the element 7 and complete turning-off and applies the signal to a pulse generator 14. The pulse generator 14 receives the delayed synchronizing signal and generates square pulses where the pulse width is a half the repetitive time interval T. Then, the closed succeeding pulses are absorbed in the pulse width and the pulse generator 14 generates pulses, T2 in pulse width in synchronizing with the preceding pulse.
