KNEADING AND DISPERSING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To miniaturize an installation and to make it possible to continuously prepare a paint, by enabling the kneading and the dispersing of a mill base and the mixing of the kneaded and dispersed mill base and other components by one apparatus. CONSTITUTION:In an inner cylindrical container 1, a mill base continuously supplied from a supply port 10 is gradually advanced toward a product outtake port 12 and a cooling jacket 2 is provided to the outer peripheral wall part of the container 1. In addition, the interior of the container is divided into a kneading and dispersing chamber 5 and a mixing chamber 6 filled with a dispersing medium 7 by a net like partition wall 4 enabling the passage of the mill base and a rotary rod 3 piercing through each chambers is arranged to the central part of the container 1. Further a stirring bar 8 is attached to the rod 3 and components other than the mill base such as a resin solution, a solvent or an additive are supplied to the chamber 6 from supply ports 11-11''. That is, the mill base is kneaded and disprsed in the chamber 5 while the kneaded and dispersed mill base is uniformly mixed with components other than the mill base in the chamber 6.
