Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain an antibody having an extremely high specificity for apurinzine, by using carboxyphenylazo apurinzine as a hapten at the time of manufacturing an anti-apurinzine antibody. CONSTITUTION:This anti-apurinzine antibody is manufactured by a known method by using carboxyphenylazo apurinzine as hapten. That is, an antibody is produced by using combined material of the carboxyphenylazo apurinzine and cattle blood serum albumin as an antigen and administrating said antigen to an animal. Next, the blood is gathered and the blood serum containing the anti-apurinzine antibody is obtaind from said blood. This blood serum is purified if necessary and a fraction containing the anti-apurinzine antibody in high concentration is obtained. The concentration of the apurinzine in the blood useful for an antiarrhythmic agent is known accurately because only 0.27% cross-reaction is shown for desethyl apurinzine as a main metabolic product of the apurinzine by thus obtained antibody.
