Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To form an optical waveguide having an arbitrary pattern with increased productivity by forming a resist image on a support having a lower refractive index than the resist layer, a support provided with a surface layer having a lower refractive index than the resist layer, or a support for a photosensitive laminate made of a photosetting resist layer and by forming a layer having a lower refractive index than the set resist on the surface of the resist. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive resin soln. is applied to a polyvinylidene fluoride film having 25mum thickness and dried, and a polyethylene film having 25mum thickness is laminated on the photosensitive layer to form a photosensitive laminate. A negative polyester film is mounted on the polyethylene film of the laminate and exposed to a superhigh voltage mercury lamp for 10min. The polyethylene film is then stripped off, and the exposed photosensitive layer is immersed in 1,1,1-trichloroethane at 20 deg.C for 5min to form a resist image. A 20% soln. of a trifluoroethyl methacrylate polymer in chloroform is applied to the surface of the resist image and dried to manufacture an optical transmission body having an optical waveguide. |
