WEATHER STRIP

PURPOSE:To perform water dripping with high reliability in such a way that in a weather strip on window glass panes for vehicle, water which has come into fitting grooves to hold glass panes is made possible to be drained using hollow spaces, formed on said weather strip and inner water vents. CONSTITUTION:A weather strip W to hold a rear window glass pane 1 is provided with a fitting groove 3 fitted to a window opening flange 2 around its outer periphery, and a bottom face 5 to be coated with sealant 4 on its outside. Also a fitting groove 6 to hold the glass pane 1 is provided on its inner circumference and inside of said groove, a hollow part 12 is provided along its longitudinal direction. In the structure as the above, a proper number of inner water vents 20 are formed for communicating the bottom of said fitting groove 6 to the hollow part 12. Besides, outer water vents 22 for communicating the hollow part 12 to the outside of fitting area of the sealing material 4 on the strip W, for example the outer surface part are formed on the strip W which is located on both sides under the glass pane 1.
