Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To prepare L-threonine in high yield, by culturing microorganism capable of producing L-threonine in a medium containing an organic acid and a saccharide at a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:Known L-threonine-producing microorganism is inoculated in a nutrient medium containing one or more organic acids selected from fumaric acid, maleic acid and malic acid, and 1-8 moles, preferably about 6 moles, based on 1 mole of the organic acid, of a saccharide such as glucose, fructose, sucrose, etc., and cultured at 5-8pH and 28-37 deg.C for 1-5 days under aerobic condition. The L-threonine can be separated from the cultured liquid. |
