ANTI-INFLAMMATORY, ANTIPYRETIC AND ANALGESIC AGENT CONTAINING THEOBROMINE DERIVATIVE AS ACTIVE CONSTITUENT

PURPOSE:An anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and analgesic agent containing a specific theobromine derivative, e.g., 1- 3- 4-m,p-dichlorophenylpiperazinyl-(1) -n- propyl theobromine, and an acid addition salt thereof as active constituents. CONSTITUTION:An anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and analgesic agent containing a theobromine derivative expressed by formulaI R is H or lower alkyl; Z is formula IV or V (X1, X2, Y1 and y2 are H, lower alkyl, lower alkoxyl, CF3 or halogen); n is an integer 2-10 and an acid addition salt thereof as active constituents. The compound expressed by formulaIis administered in a dose of preferably about 3-100mg per day orally or parenterally, intramuscularly, subcutaneously or intravenously, etc. and used as the above-mentioned drug. The compound can be prepared by reacting a compound expressed by formula II (X is halogen or p-toluenesulfonyloxy) with a compound expressed by formula III.
