STORING DEVICE OF OPTICAL FIBER SURPLUS LENGTH PART

PURPOSE:To store and take out an optical fiber surplus length part in an optical fiber connecting part in good order and easily, by installing a case for storing the optical fiber surplus length part, to receiving base provided on a base body freely attachably and detachably. CONSTITUTION:For instance, on a connecting box 1 of a base line cable laid under the ground, an optical fiber cable holding tool 3, a connector base 4 and a surplus length storing body 5, thus an optical fiber cable 2 is connected. The storing body 5 consists of a receiving base 6 and a case 7 being freely attachable and detachable to the base 6. The receiving base 6 projects projecting pieces 8 on side walls so as to be opposed, partitions the lengthwise direction, and projects spring-like detaining pieces 9 from both the side walls of the partitioned part. The case 7 opens its upper surface 10, is provided with a bottom plate 11, also stores an annular wound surplus length part 13 of an optical fiber 12, provides a recessed fitting part 14 on both sides in the lengthwise direction, and the case is installed to the receiving base 6. In this regard, to an opening upper surface 10, a cover 15 is installed freely attachably and detachably.
