Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To improve quality and to reduce the cost of an ingot by installing a vessel for containing molten steel between a ladle and a continuous casting mold, and heating the molten steel with an induction coil placed on the outer side when the molten steel passes through the inside of said vessel. CONSTITUTION:A vessel 2 for containing molten steel which enables the induction heating of molten steel is installed between an ordinary ladle 1 and a continuous casting mold 5. The vessel 2 has the function of heating the molten steel inductively for the purpose of regulating the temp. thereof to a prescrbied value in the stage of receiving the molten steel supplied continuously from the ladle 1 once therein and discharging the same downward continuously therefrom. The molten metal is stirred according to the induction heating in the vessel 2, the floating, sepn., etc. of the non-metallic inclusions therein are accelerated, and the clean molten steel is supplied to the casting mold.
