PURPOSE:To enable the data collection and the preparation of data quickly, efficiently and with low cost, by providing the memory unit to each of electronic cash registers (ECR) and by providing two sets of emmory units to the centrolized control unit collecting the date. CONSTITUTION:The memory memorizing the registration data is provided with respecrive ECR's 30, and the centralized control unit (CDT) 10 is provided with the first memory memorizing the registration data of each ECR on types and with the second memory memorizing the data memorized for a given period accummulatingly, and ECR and CDT are connected with the data bus. CDT 10 is provided with the meand designating arbitrary number of ECR, and the registration data of the designating arbitrary number of ECR, and the registration data of the designated number of ECR, and the registration data of the designated number is memorized in the first or the second memory. The daily report printed and recorded based on the data of the first memory and the data for a given period based on the second memory are formed. Every time the second memory memorizes the data of each ECR, control is made so that each ECR memory is cleared. Thus, the data such as monthly report can easily be made.
