Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:An isocyanate composition having improved storage stability, not causing the rise in viscosity, change in color, etc. with time, obtained by adding a specific small amount of a quinone compound to an isocyanate compound. CONSTITUTION:0.01-1.0wt% quinone compound[e.g., benzoquinone, naphthoquinone, hydroquinone(monobenzyl ether), etc.]is added to an isocyanate compound such as phenyl isocyanate, diphenylmethane diisocyanate, etc. The addition is carried out by a conventional method, and the quinone compound may be added to an isocyanate compound in molten state immediately after distillation.
