Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To prepare preferably edible food having taste like powdered tea, causing no change in active ingredients, free from grassy-smelling, by impregnating boiled aloe with sugar, coating its outer layer part with a sugar-containing layer. CONSTITUTION:Root parts and thron parts are removed from aloe, which is washed with water, and put in a boiled solution and subjected to boiling treatment. Sugar is dissolved in the boiled solution and the treatment is carried out by a low fire. The aloe having undergone boiling treatment is put in a concentrated sugar solution and impregnated with sugar. By this treatment, all the outer layer part is covered with the concentrated sugar solution, the aloe is put in solid sugar, all the outer layer is sprinkled with the solid sugar while the attached concentrated sugar being in an adhesive condition, and the aloe is cooled to normal temperature condition, to give a product.
