CONSTITUTION:A composition for oral cavity application usable in the form of tooth paste, tooth powder, mouth wash, troche, pasta, coating agent, massage cream for the gingiva, gargle tablet, etc. is incorporated with the extract of one or more kinds of vegetables selected from Melilotus officinalis Lamarck, Carthamus tinctorium L. and Lonicera japonica Thumb, as active components. The solvent for extraction is water, lower alcohol, glycerol, acetone, and hexane or their mixture especially water or a mixture of water and a water-soluble organic solvent.
