Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To improve optical fixing sensitivity without damaging shelf stability, by adding an organic halide, from which halogen radicals are liberated by light irradiation, to a picture recording layer consisting essentially of a diazo sulfonate, a coupling agent, and a binder. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive liquid consisting essentially of K, Na, and NH4 salts of diazo sulfonic acid, a coupling agent such as a resorcin (derivative), 2-hydroxy-3-naphthoic acid, or the like, and a binder such as a poly(meth)acrylate, a cellulosic resin, or the like is prepared. An organic halide which generates an acid by reaction on the binder to promote the decomposition of the diazo sulfonate and is indicated with formulasIand II (R is substituted) aryl, and one or more among X1-X3 are halogen, and the rest is H) is added to this photosensitive liquid, and this obtained solution is applied and dried on a supporting material to produce recording paper. After all of the surface of this photosensitive layer is irradiated with a light of 300-520nm, data is written by a thermal head. Next, reexposure is performed to fix data.
