Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a plasticity uniformly on the whole and to efficiently manufacture a molded work having no defect such as crack, by a method wherein a specified quantity of a powder granular thermoplastic resin is mixed in a vegetable fiber to form a fibrous mat. CONSTITUTION:Vegetable fiber and a thermoplastic resin, mixed in the ratio of not less than 5wt% to said vegetable fiber, are dispersed and mixed in substantial quantities of water to prepare a screening liquid, and the screening liquid is wet-screened to form a fibrous mat in a wetting condition. After the fibrous mat is dried, it is pressurized by heating using a heat-pressurizing device heated to higher than a softening point of a powder granular resin to form a heat pressure-processed fiber board. Then, after the heat pressure-processed fiber board is softened by a steaming process, it is placed between mold materials having a required shape while it is still in a softening state to perform a cold-molding at a normal temperature to form a fibrous molding body.
