Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a thermally developable diazo-type recording medium having both heat-sensitive color producing sensitivity and preservation stability and useful for a terminal of data communications or the like, by using a salt of a specified polybasic acid and an alkylated guanidine as a thermal developing agent. CONSTITUTION:In a recording medium wherein a recording layer comprising a diazonium compound, a coupler, an acid stabilizer and a thermal developing agent is provided on a base, a salt of (A) a polybasic acid having a primary dissociation constant of 2X10-1X10 (e.g., benzenesulfonic acid, oxalic acid, phosphoric acid, malonic acid, lactic acid) and (B) an alkylated guanidine of the formula (wherein one of R1, R2 is 8-24C alkyl, and the other is H, alkyl) (e.g., octylguanidine, nonylguanidine, N-methyl-N-octadecylguanidine) is used as the thermal developing agent.
