Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To produce a titled composite body free from position deviation of an inorg. fiber molding which is held by set pins projecting spacially at predetermined intervals in the cavity of a casting mold by packing and combining said molding into an alloy by a high pressure solidifying and casting method. CONSTITUTION:After a top mold 2 is moved upward, both end parts of an inorg. fiber molding F are fitted respectively forcibly into the notches 11, 12 of both set pins 9, 10, and is held between the pins 9 and 10. In this case, the molding F is disposed at the center of the rod forming part 6C in a cavity 6 by the projecting length of the pins 9, 10 from a top mold 3 and the height positions of the notches 11, 12. The mold 2 is moved downward and is superposed on the mold 3, and the melt of a matrix alloy is charged into the molten metal well in the upper part of a plunger 13; thereafter, the plunger 13 is moved upward to force the molten metal into the cavity 6 and to pressurize the same. Thus, the molding F is packed and combined into the matrix alloy simultaneously with the casting of a blank material for connecting rods. |
