ANTHRAQUINONE-TYPE ANIONIC DYE COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:To provide the titled dye composition which is easily soluble in water or in an acidic aqueous midium and capable of dyeing polyamide fiber in greenish color, by compounding a specific anionic dye to an anino-(acetylaminophenyl) aminoanthraquinone-sulfonic acid dye. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is prepared by compounding an anionic dye composed of 1-amino-4-(4-acetylaminophenyl)aminoanthraquinone-2-sulfonic acid (salt) of formulaIwith one or more dyes of formula II (R is >=2C alkyl or aryl; M is H, alkali metal or ammonium) in an amount of e.g. 60wt%. EFFECT:The separation of the dye with acid under alkaline-acidic conditions (8-2pH) is suppressed, and the gelation of the solution is prevented. Accordingly, the preparation of stock solution and the bath for the continuous dyeing or printing is extremely easy, and a uniformly dyed product free from the spot dyeing cased by the agglomeration of the dye can be obtained.
