METHOD FOR DISCHARGING DUST OF HIGH VOLTAGE DRY TYPE ELECTRIC DUST COLLECTOR

PURPOSE:To prevent the injection of a gas, by discharging dust after the gas in a discharging dust hopper is discharged through a silencer and a dust collecting apparatus to lower the pressure in the hopper to atmospheric pressure to reduce the abrasion of a gas seal valve. CONSTITUTION:A gas discharge pipe 20 is connected to the upper part of a discharging dust hopper 11 and, to this discharge pipe 20, a gas blocking valve 21, a silencer 22 and a dust collecting apparatus 23 are provided. In this structure, when dust is received, the upper side seal valve 9 of the dust hopper 11 is opened and the lower side seal valve 9 thereof and the gas blocking valve 21 are closed to receive dust in the hopper 11. On the other hand, when dust is discharged, the upper side seal valve 9 of the hopper 11 is closed while the gas blocking valve 21 of the gas discharge pipe 20 is opened to discharge a gas to the atmosphere through the silencer 22 and the dust collecting apparatus 23 and pressure in the hopper 11 is made equal to atmospheric pressure. Subsequently, the lower side seal valve 9 is opened to discharge dust 12 into a slurry pit 10.
