LUBRICATING OIL FEEDING MECHANISM FOR SCROLL COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE:To enable to close an oil supply passage when operation of a compressor is stopped, by providing a valve that is opened and closed in response to the pressure difference between compression chambers, in the oil supply passage extended between an oil sump in a discharge chamber and an end face of a fixed scroll. CONSTITUTION:When operaion of a compressor is stopped, pressure in a compression chamber 25 is lowered, and pressure at a compression chamber section 25b and that at a compression chamber section 25c become equal to each other. At the same time, pressure in a first pressure chamber 21 and that in a second pressure chamber 22 also become equal to each other. Resultantly, a spool 20 that has been urged toward the second pressure chamber 22 against the force of a spring 26, is slided toward the first pressure chamber 21 by the force of the spring 26. That is, communication between two oil suppy passages 19a, 19b is broken by the spool 20, so that supply of lubricating oil to an oil supply groove 9 is stopped.
