Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To enable the accurate and easy control of the temperature of reaction liquid, by forming a highly conductive metallic film on the wall of a reaction vessel made of glass, and applying electrical field to the film to effect heat generation. CONSTITUTION:A highly conductive metallic film 2 is applied to the lower part of the outer wall of a reaction vessel 1 made of glass by baking metallic powder such as tin oxide powder, and is provided with a pair of electric terminals 3. A stirring blade 6 composed of an iron core 5 covered with stainless steel, teflon, etc., and a nozzle 9 for adding pH control liquid and having a sharp wedge shape, are placed in the reaction vessel 1. A proper medium is charged in the reaction vessel 1, and inoculated with microorganisms. The stirring blade 6 is rotated with the magnetic stirrer 8, and if necessary, electric current is passed through the terminals 3 to keep the medium to a specific temperature. The pH control liquid is added to the reaction vessel from the nozzle 9 to maintain the medium at a desired pH, and the cultivation of the microogranisms is carried out.
