PRINTING DEVICE FOR CYLINDRICAL ITEM SUCH AS AMPUL, ETC

PURPOSE:To improve a 2-transfer system printing device for cylindrical item so that the partial change of data to be printed can be made easier and sharp impression can be produced by perfoming the printing of variable print data by means of a specific division system. CONSTITUTION:A printing device for cylindrical item such as ampul, etc. is composed by such an arrangement wherein an intagliated plate roll 1' for printing variable data is composed of 1a(e.g.; for printing date) and 1b' (for printing a lot number) (symbol M is a mark for registering position), scrapers 3a', 3b', are arranged with a clearance DELTA provided to correspond to 1a' and 1b' respectively, and on the one hand, the transfer fret of a transfer drum for receiving and giving printing ink to a print drum is provided, on its transfer surface 9a, with an undercut portion 9b corresponding to said clearance DELTA. Said clearance may be provided at the side of the print drum.
