CUTTING TOOL

PURPOSE:To enable to cut a material to be cut under a noiseless state, by a method wherein a cutting tool is made of a metal and is constituted with a plurality of cutters of a diskform base board and a damping component, through which an oscillation to be generated during cutting is damped immediately. CONSTITUTION:A base plate 42 of a cutting tool 41 for stone, a firebrick, plastics, or the like, is in a metallic plateform made of steel, and an istallation hole of a main shaft is formed on its center. Each cutter 43 is constituted with either grinding stone which is fabricated by sintering and combining grains, such as a particulate diamond with metal powder or grinding stone fabricated by combining similar grains with resin. A damping component 44 made of synthetic resin system adhesive whose hardness is softer than that of the cutter 43 is secured between the adjoining cutters 43 on the external circumference of the base plate 42. With this constitution, an oscillation to be generated during cutting is damped immedicately and a material to be cut is cut under a noiseless state.
