Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic material mesh magnetizing type separator which is not increased in size, allows the use of a large-sized magnet, and has large attracting performance by specifying the constitution of meshes and inserting them into the magnet attachably and detachably. CONSTITUTION:An element 6 consists of a feed water pipe 8 which has one end, e.g. upper end sealed and has numbers of holes 7 in the circumferential surface, circular collars 9 equipped to its upper and lower ends, and magnetic materials 10 laminated around the pipe 8. Several bodies obtained as mentioned above are arrayed vertically in a lidded basket 1 which has an introduction pipe 2 in the lower surface and a discharge pipe 3 at the upper part. This basket 1 is inserted into the gap between the facing magnetic poles N and S of a magnet from above and then fixed to the top surface of the magnet. Then, treating liquid is introduced into the basket 1 from the pipe 2 to enter the pipe 8 from its lower end and then flows out of the element 6 through meshes 10 from the holes 7 to be discharged from the pipe 3. During this period, magneic material particles in the treating liquid are separated by being attracted to the meshes 10.
