Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:The titled aqueous solution being easily dissolved in water, having low change with time, obtained by blending ubidecarenone with hydrogenated lecithin. CONSTITUTION:The titled aqueous solution comprising a blend of 1pt.wt. ubidecarenone and 0.2-15pts.wt. hydrogenated lecithin, a water-soluble solvent (e.g., propylene glycol) and/or an isotonic agent (e.g., glucose). Ubidecarenone is positioned in an electron transport system of myocardial mitochondria, plays an important role in energy production, is useful for improving hemotasis symptom such as ischemic heart disease, etc. caused by reduction in cardiac function, but it has bad absorption from the intestine and it is very difficult to dissolve ubidecarenone in water. When it is blended with hydrogenated lecithin, it is solubilized in water without using a nonionic surface active agent, and can provide an aqueous solution having a low ratio in change of transmittance and a low ratio in change of coloring degree. Hydrogenated lecithin is obtained by adding lecithin to an autoclave, bringing it into contact with hydrogen in the presence of a solvent and a catalyst, hydrogenating it until a given iodine value is reached. |
