Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide the titled molding material having high transparency free from discoloration, and suitable for the bottle for food, drink, etc., having the contents of Sb-, Ge-, Zn-, Co-, Mn- and Mg-compounds in the polymer within specific ranges, and containing a specific amount of isophthalic acid as a copolymer unit. CONSTITUTION:The objective molding material is prepared by copolymerizing 5-20mol% isophthalic acid component (based on total acid component) to ethylene terephthalate using a large amount of Sb2O3 as the polymerization catalyst in combination with Ge-, Zn-, Co-, Mn- and Mg-compounds under the conditions that the amounts of the above compounds in terms of each metal satisfy the formulaI, formula II, formula III and formula IV (the unit is ppm).
