Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To improve the positioning accuracy when automatically making a milling machine cyclic by performing the positioning of a knee up and down position while always lifting the knee from a lower position and stopping it. CONSTITUTION:Cams 3-6 are mounted on a position required for both rough cutting and finish cutting for the working condition converting dials 1,2 of a milling machine. Moreover, cams 16-18 are also mounted on a dial 21 indicating the up and down position of a knee. These dials are driven by a servo motor, and these positions are detected by limit switches 7, 8. 24 to perform the positioning of the dials so that a milling machine is made to be automatically cyclic. To precisely position the knee up and down position, the lower step position cam 18 located further below is provided besides the finish working position cam 16 and the rough working position am 17, and even when terminating finish working and returning to the first rough working, a milling machine is positioned while being lifted after firstly stopped at the lower step position.
