HIGH FREQUENCY MAGNETIC AMPLIFIER

PURPOSE:To attain a magnetic amplifier with low loss, by forming an iron core with wide thin metallic bands wound thinly and inserting a conductor in the center. CONSTITUTION:As a conductor 20, a conductor with a suitable insulating film, and a thin metallic band 22 for a magnetic circuit is directly wound on the conductor up to a suitable thickness to form the iron core. Thus, the loss is less in comparison with the conductor wound on the doughnut type iron core. Further, after winding the thin metallic band on the conductor directly, an oxidized film is produced between the conductor and the thin metallic band with heat treatment, or after applying insulating powder or liquid on the conductor, the thin metallic band is wound and the insulator is sintered with heat treatment.
