PIEZOELECTRIC SPEAKER

PURPOSE:To increase the reproducing ability at low frequencies and to realize flat frequency characteristics, by making the shape of a piezoelectric oscillator to lengthwise center shaft asymmetric. CONSTITUTION:A metallic plate of an oscillator 1 is almost of racket shape of a ping-pong playing, a circular piezoelectric plate 3 is composed at the center, a narrow metallic plate 2 is fixed to a support stand 4, wider side is taken as an oscillation tip, and a part of notched oscillator is made asymmetrical to the lengthwise center shaft. By taking the oscillator asymmetrical, the oscillation mode shrinked in the case of symmetrical type is separated, resonance points are increased, and the frequency characteristics can substantially be made flat for a speaker coupling a vibration diaphragm plate 5 at the tip of the oscillator 1.
