Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To product a container excellent in the drop impact strength, rigidity, and clarity, by reheating a preform that has been extruded and drawn at specified temperatures, and biaxially stretching it followed by blow molding. CONSTITUTION:A vinyl chloride resin is extruded from an annular die 2 by an extruder 1 into a gradual cooling zone 3 to be shaped into a pipe 4. The extruded pipe 4 is drawn in the extruded direction at a temperature lower by 5 deg.C or more than the melting point of said vinyl chloride resin and higher by 5 deg.C or more than a drawing and blowing temperature that will be used afterward, is passed through a sizing former 5 into a quenching bath 7 where it is quenched to be solidified, and is severed by a cutter 9 into a preform 10 having a prescribed size. The preform 10 is introduced in a heating furnace 12 to be heated to a drawing and blowing temperature of 120-180 deg.C. The reheated preform is oriented vertically by clamps 15, 15', and then is molded by split molds 16, 16' into a shape of a container.
