PHOTOSENSITIVE AND HEAT SENSITIVE TYPE RECORDING MEMBER

PURPOSE:To enhance the shelf stability by microencapsulating a photoreducing agent or a chelating agent in a layer producing a basic substance so as to prevent the direct contact of the agent with a Co(III) complex before forming an image. CONSTITUTION:A layer producing a basic substance is laid on a support. This layer contains a Co(III) amine complex and/or a Co(III) amine complex, a photoreducing agent, a chelating agent and a hydrogen donor as principal components. The agents have been microencapsulated. The layer is then coated with a color developing layer contg. a photo oxidizing agent, a coupler which develops color by oxidation and an acid promoting the color development as principal components. Immediately before forming an image, microcapsules in the lower layer are collapsed by pressurizing the surface of the resulting recording sheet. In order to obtain a positive image, the sheet is irradiated with visible light through an orginal and heated.
