Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:The seedlings of rice plant which have been grown on the soil treated with 4-methylsulfonyloxyphenyl-N-methlthiol carbamate are transplanted to the rice field treated with a specific herbicide, thus reducing the growth inhibition by chemicals caused on low temperature or when the quality of seedlings is not good. CONSTITUTION:After seedlings of rice plant are raised using the soil treated with 4-methylsulfonyloxyphenyl-N-methylthiol carbamate, they are transplanted to the rice field treated with a substance containing 2,4,6-trichlorophenyl-4- nitro-phenyl ether; 2,4-dichlorophenyl-3-methoxy-4-nitrophnyl ether or 5-tert.- butyl-3-(2,4-dichloro-5-isoprpoxyphenyl)1,3,4-oxadiazoline-2-one as a herbicide or the seedlings are treated with the herbicide on or after transplantation, thus reducing the injury to rice plant by the herbicide.
